Hello all,

Would it be safe to leave the air recirculation on perminatly during hot weather with the rear quarterlight windows open slightly? Would some fresh air be brought in from the front of the car or should I leave the front windows open a crack too? My climate control isn't cold enough at 18C and blasts us when set to LOW. With the recirc button pressed there is nice COLD air without the fan going full blast.

This might sound a strange question but I can see many vents for air to come out of but where is the air sucked back in to the air conditioner to be cooled again when the recirculation button is pressed?

Is it correct that the recirc button automatically switches off after 20 minutes? My manual says I should make sure I switch it off myself.

Thanks,

Neil.

why not leave on recirc for say15/20 mins then return to auto for 5mins then back and forth as you journey along  while we are on the subject of recirc ,when you push recirc button what difference does it make to the fan speed and is there a noise of recirc flap operating? just trying to find out if mine is working
