I Fitted My First Solar Electric System Today

Boys and their toys,

 

Got an off grid solar system (ones used in caravans and boats) the other week and decided that today we would play with it, I am well chuffed with it :o

 

Easy to put together, installed the panels, batteries, controller and inverter. It was really sunny so a good day to test it and how impressed I am, 46" plasma screen and a load of light bulbs running off it without a problem.

 

Its only a 250w portable system so I did not expect miricals but it will be going to chester races with me on family day, woohoo.

 

Boss and I spent all day playing with all manor of solar systems today, now we played with the little ones next week we are playing with the big boys 3kw arrays...
