Just gone out to the Gal this morning and the immobiliser light on the drivers door is lit permanently, all the doors are locked and nothing I do will open any of them, tried manually unlocking them and tried pressing both remote keys, but absolutely nothing happens. Has anyone got any ideas before I ring the AA, as I am certain they will have to 'relay' it to a main dealer, as they are not too up on immobilisers etc. Help ! Any advice at all please............

OK, I've managed to open the passenger side door and get under the bonnet, newish battery is completely dead. No idea why, but all instruments etc gone off, so not any amps from it. Edited by jkspoff

OK, panic over ! AA came out and charged battery, it was down to 2 volts ! It was still draining during charge, we checked all interior lights etc and was baffled for a moment, then I remembered..........the after market DVD player was still plugged in to the rear 12 volt socket, it was pulling 4 amps constantly, arhhh, all my fault after all !! At least it didn't cost anything !

AA man seemed to think not, providing the battery is relatively new and its warm weather, I let it charge for over an hour before switching off.
