Lcd Display

Hi all

I'm a newbie so bear with me if youve seen this before

I have a 2001 Sharan 1.9 Sport, and the Computer LCD display fades away as car warms up!

I know this probably means a new dash pod ( and mine has the 6 dials so never found one yet on e-bay!) but has anyone got any other ideas?.

Can u buy the LCD bit seperately or will one from another model fit?

I've had LCD fade on my Mondeo (same dash as my Galaxy) - worried me a lot until I cured it - by recharging the battery.

You might be lucky and find it's the same thing.

They seem to be sensitive to voltage.
