A little bit of historical education for our younger viewers ( who probably have a recent politically correct education ) and therefore know nothing about British History......I will be suprised if they can even spell it !

 

 

The pink bits....used to be ours....we gave them away !

 

We ruled 20% of the earths land area and 23% of its population were proud to be part of the British Empire....any who weren't proud were beaten until they said they were.

To a greater or lesser extent the same could be said for the French, Germans and the Dutch. The 'old' nations had most of the globe carved up between them. :) Andy.
