neiluk Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Hello all, I would like to buy a tonneau cover for my Mk1 galaxy (it has the slots for it), but all the ones on Ebay so far have been Light and dark grey, black or beige. Did they ever come out in Blue? Would a tonneau cover from a Mk2 fit my car without adjustment? Thanks, Neil. Quote
gregers Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 yes i had a blue 1 in my old gal,do a search for your 2nd question,im sure this has recently been covered hth. Quote

Pal Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 When I asked Ford about one for my Mark II they quoted 3 colour options - Flannel Grey (light/mid grey), Anthracite (dark grey/black) or Beige. I have seen blue ones listed on e-bay so presume they must have made blue interiors for the Mark I. There is a blue one for sale on eBay at the moment - item no: 220104033714 but with them going on average for around Quote
big_kev Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 The different lengths are Shorter version ......for people who have a rear heater ( big lump above the nearside rear wheel arch ) Longer version for those who don't have a rear heater and have a smaller bump. Do you have a rear heater ? Quote
neiluk Posted April 26, 2007 Author Report Posted April 26, 2007 Thanks for all your answers, very helpful ;) . I missed that blue cover! I thought it finished the following day B) . Never mind, alteast I now know that any blue cover should be from a Mk1. I have noticed that the covers are different shapes. Either the Mk1 or Mk2 end flap is much less symetrical. http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t244/Neilwuk/f57b_1_b1.jpg http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t244/Neilwuk/09a7_1.jpg This is my nearside rear wheel arch Big Kev. I have lower rear vents, but I have no idea if I get heat from these. I guess they provide heat and cooling controlled from the front climate controls. Would air come out of these whenever the rear fan is on? http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t244/Neilwuk/Loadcover1.jpg http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t244/Neilwuk/loadcover2.jpg My owners guide says you can have a heater button on the clock or the top button on the dashboard. Do these do the same thing? I haven't got either  . Neil. Quote
Guest wolfie Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 My owners guide says you can have a heater button on the clock or the top button on the dashboard. Do these do the same thing? I haven't got either if you have Climate control you wont have the button on the dash or the controls on the head lineing, the buttons on the clock is for presetting a warm up time for the aux heateron the climate panel you have two sets of controls to adjust fan speed and temp, IIRC the controls on the left control the front and the ones on the right the rear Quote
big_kev Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 Neil, Do you have a pic of the rear nearside mounting bracket, where the cover hooks onto when fully extended. It is easier to tell from there. Quote
