Size Of Spare Wheel Holder?

I hope this isn't a silly question. I have looked under my new Galaxy and seen a sticker on my spare wheel which says it has a maximum speed of 50MPH. I take it that it is some sort of space saver tyre. Will my 215 16's fit where the spare lives if I do get a puncture? I don't fancy having 7 up and nowhere to put the punctured tyre!

Yes it will fit. The winch system just winds up until the wheel's tight. When you put the wheel back make sure you keep the cable tight at all times and don't allow the wheel to spin around as you wind.

Yes, my previous Alhambra came with 5 alloy wheels and tyres, all the same size - 215/55x15 this is same overall size as the 215 tyres on 16" rims. Space savers are an absolute b****r, aren't they?
