My Galaxy has had the same problem since I bought it - the remote locking has never worked with either of the keys I have. The batteries have been changed on the key fob, the light is nice and bright, and since there is a lab full of RF test gear at my work I spent a lunchtime proving that the key is definitely transmitting normally on the right frequency. Is there something in the ECU that could have packed up?

is the control box for central locking under the passenger seat if so could something have dislodged under there causing this problem, just strange how it was working perfect and then just stopped, was quite impressed when i bought it 7mths ago and it had global closure which also worked, now i have to use the key which can be annoying any help would be apreciated.
