Interior Light

hi all heres an odd one

normally when i open the doors with the remote the inside light comes on even before the door is opened, normal i believe.

now though ths function has stopped the light still comes on though when you open the door and stays on for the delay time.

just an odd thing, anyone know how it works or why it should stop coming on. thanks

I am assuming you are meaning the light on the roof.....has the switch changed position?

no light switch in nrmal position yes front light above windscreen

If im sitting in the car and the light turns off, I press unlock on the fob to turn the light back on. When i do this, I can hear a certain "tick", as if there is a relay of some sort controlling the timing of the light from the fuse box area.

 

this supossed "relay" ticks (once) and instantly the light switches on.

 

 

does the middle light (directly above the middle centre seat) come on at all?
