Engine Cover

could anyone tell me my lower engine cover is missing, ive heard on another post that this is a bad thing but cant find out what happens if this item is missing, ive tried to do a search on this but cant seem to turn anything up any help would be apreciated many thanks.

Has it always been missing?or just since a service?

One of the main problems is in the wet. The steering pump pulley and belt get wet and slip giving "STEERING FAILURE". :)

 

Like Mumof4 said, has it always been missing or only since the last service. What ever the case get it replaced immediately.
