Hi Everyone

 

Just a quick line to introduce myself or rather my Gal to the site. I am the proud owner(since Friday) of a 55plate 1.9 TDI Ghia in black. I've been reading through some of the other posts and I seem to have a couple of familiar problems which I would like to know if anyone out there knows how to solve.

 

1) wind noise around drivers door above 60mph. (Please don't suggest driving at 59 will cure it !)

 

2) slight vibraion through the steering wheel when brakeing. (the car had been stood for some time and the discs were rusty when I collected her).

 

3) Steering wheel not straight. ( Bit worried about diving in on this one due to the airbag, but should be a simple job if anyone can let me know how to do it without setting off the airbag)

 

Fantastic site and I will post some pics as soon as I have given her another clean.
