Tow Bar Electrics, Connection Block?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm a newbie but I'm asking a question on behalf of a friend.

He has a Galaxy 1.9 diesel 2000, he's wiring up a tow bar, he has some Ford wiring diagrams and we have found all the cables required to do the job, but there is a question of a 19 pin connector block, specially for tow bar electrics(which would be easier to connect to), should it be located around one of the rear clusters??, we cannot find it in these areas, where is it??

Help appreciated.

Never fitted a tow bar to a Gal, but IO have fitted reversing sensors and the feed for the reversing lights is on the offside.

I would assume that the feed for a trailer would be this side also.

Sorry it doesn't help much but should at least narrow it down to one side for you.

Guys ! anyone else who can help ?

If its an early Mk2 then the there wont be a socket, if its a late Mk1 it should be in the right hand rear storage box where the jack is stored. They are usually tucked down behind the light cluster. ;) Andy. Edited by AndeeeH
