wonkydog Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Hi Peeps, still trainning for the Reading 1/2 Marathon next Sunday. My eldest (Sarah, 9) just came into the spare room where I I am sat at the computer to say, "Dad, Jimmy wants to say something but he's a bit embarrassed, He told me his willy has just gone up!" He's 7 and has just had a you know what. I just cant stop giggling, and telling the missus to be quiet, Ethan (twin) wants to look and Sarah is asking "What's the secret?" Help! Quote
mumof4 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 LMAO....gawd...tell em the truth...in a very plain and simple way.....My son when he discovered that if he twanged it it would stand up thought it was a great game till he walked in doing it when i had my mother round one day. Bless em...... part of growing up!!...just wait till he wakes up with ermmm...well...you know.lol. My 9 yr old daughter knows all about the birds and the bees and i think its best if you just try and be very calm about it..the times i laughed when my son would thread a whole packet of polos on his and wrap it around a pencil and let go and it wouldnt move..lmao.. bless..those were pre circumcision days. Because of the problems my son had, we had to address the problems of it popping up after his op before it had healed. Sooo...once youve stopped laughing, go and have a little chat with the poor lad..LMAO. Quote
wonkydog Posted March 20, 2007 Author Report Posted March 20, 2007 It's great, me and the wife are getting misty eyed and saying they're getting big so fast! No pun intended! Change subject and not give any clues,,,,,, yet! Polos, Hmmmm. Ok. Still giggling. Quote
mumof4 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 gotta say..my sons been um..playing tents for some years now., hes just turned 8.Best thing is to speak to him if he was worried enough to tell his sister, these things dont go away!!..Ive always been honest with my kids and if they have asked i have answered.Had some tricky ones along the way, but i answer as honestly as i can but very simply.if you dont speak to him, he will speak to his mates and may get info that you may not want him to know as every parent is different on what they say, how they say and when they say. Andrew T Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Some friends, who are Farmers, thought a good time to introduce this topic was when the Sheep were gathered for Tupping last Autumn. Having explained the mechanics involved in where Lambs come from and how human babies originate in the same way, the 5 year old lad watched in awe as the Tup banged its way through the flock. When it was over he asked his Mother "didn't she get tired having to drag his Dad round the field on her back"? Quote
