yup thinking of the cheaper ones from ebay, but i'ed prob pick up the wrong one

 

In the past I had an airbag light on and the car still passed the MOT. Unless the MOT test has changed recently I think you will find airbag function is not part of the test. Best just ask at the MOT garage. I changed the clock spring under the steering wheel myself. There was an intermittent disconnection on the ribon wire. Cost of the new part :

cheers viking,ask the guy at the mot station today,he comfirmed it,said only the abs light,

booked in for tommrow for the mot

 

well it failed the mot ,

Hi, It is not an MOT failure if your airbag light is, i know for sure because i have put my galaxy through 2 mot's with the light on, they just mention it on your advisery sheet, hope this helps.
