Brake Lights Come On With Side And Head Lights..!

Hi all

 

Im a newbie to the site so be gentle..

 

I have a prob with my 2001 Y reg 2.3 zetec galaxy.. Basically the brake lights stay on as soon as I turn on the side or headlights.. Any ideas as to what the problem could be???

 

I doubt its the brake light switch but I could be wrong.. Iv checked all the rear end bulbs and all are OK..

 

The car does have an after market tow kit that was fitted years ago.. could this have anything to do with it..??

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try turning the bulbs around i changed one of my bulbs the other week put it in the wrong way so might be that :ph34r:
