Need A Moan

im really fed up bought this bleedin bright car 2 weeks ago (it failed its mot on a rear spring so garage put new one on it for its mot) i had to buy new headlights cus one blew it was a sealed unit, had to buy 2 new tyres cus i had slow punctures he said there was nothing wrong with them now just found out my my suspension is leaking oil all over my rear wishbone the one on the spring he replaced ...its taken the garage all day to find rear shocks (said he cant get any) we went to our local motor factors said garage hadnt been in touch and they can get hold of some now to top it all off just found out the mot has recorded my mileage as 133,007 miles dozy sod didnt realise it was bloody kilometers just a good job hes give me 3 months warrenty with the thing just waiting for him to call me back to see what his excuse is this time and then im gonna tell him hes got till tuesday sort it otherwise hes havin car back and i want my money back aaarggghhh

T ..... shocks dont leak just like that and will fail an MOT if they are ..... did they MOT it? Anyway, still a nice car and when are you getting them AA stickers on it? :lol: :ph34r:

Sounds like he's tried to sell you a dud. :P

By law as he's a dealer, he is liable for six months. You just need to know your rights, and don't let them intimidate you into backing down. It's down to him to prove the fault wasn't there when the car was sold to you, not for you to prove it was!

 

I have just taken a dealer to court and won :lol: (just waiting for the money to arrive :ph34r: ).

 

I will post the details of what happened and which regulations you would need to quote soon.

thanks chesh ill be waiting :D anyway its booked in for monday for him to get it up on mot ramp and look at it cant wait to hear what hes gonna come out with monday. all i get off him was nothing wrong with this and that it wouldnt of passed its mot if anything was wong my other half was shocked the way i went off at dealer this morning think hes in a state of shock Edited March 16, 2007 by teresag22003
