neiluk Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Hello all, There is a great lack of Mk1 Galaxys near me, so I have never had the chance to see in a Mk1 Ghia/Ghia X to see if the driver can control the rear (or should I say middle) set of windows? I can lower the window behind me on my trusty Daewoo Nexia to see while reversing onto our drive trough gates. As my impending Galaxy will be Much wider than my Nexia I really could do with that option, especially at night or when the window has misted up. I have looked at the doors of other cars for sale on Ebay etc, but I have only noticed 2 switches for windows on the door. Am I going to do without this very handy feature? Thanks, Neil. Quote

Thanks, Neil.My 2000 Ghia (I understand they dropped the "X" bit by then, and just loaded up the Ghia with toys before the new model came out) is fitted with window switches on all doors, plus both fronts on drivers door. It also has dash mounted controls for both rears (middle row), and offside rear quarterlight. (Only the offside opens when fitted with climate control).Hope this makes sense and is of help. Quote

So the window control's are in two different places for the driver. I hadn't thought of that one! Thanks very much! Neil. Quote
