mumble_bee Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 damn sorry getting confused tween the 2 probs I had....(that was for lights) the bottom right fuse is for the blowers...(34) I remember its location cause mine used to blow all the time.. and I would change it whilst driving <_< failing that, I would say the resistor pack has packed in :o sorry for the confusion Quote

Most of mine are like that nowadays. I'll check fuse #34 i think top row is 1-26, bottom is 27-whatever. What is the resistor pack, how do i find and and how do i replace it... is it easy, cheap or is there some guide please? !!! Quote
Guest wolfie Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 resistor pack failure? do he fans run at the highest speed? if they dont then it's unlikely that the resistor pack has failed! do you have AC or CC? Quote

Its a usual 2.3 Zetec Gal, year 2000 early mk 2 on a W plate. Couldn't find any blown fuses but will change #34 anyway ... assuming fuse #34 is the correct one to change that is? Other than that any other ideas assuming its not the resistor pack..... <_< Quote

Guest greenfaldo1 Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 I had a problem with the heater and it would sometimes heat and other times wouldn't , sometimes it would be on full heat and wouldn't cool down, in the end i decided that the unit had to be replaced because when i beat up the heater control it would start working, so i splashed out Quote
