Help please took receipt of our "new" galaxy yesturday unfortunatly the dealer had put the wrong handbook in with all the service records etc so i got a new ford galaxy handbook and mines an 03 so i'm having a bit of trouble with a few things. One of which is that when i turn the engine on i get a light on which is in the shape of an unpside down lightbulb with a exclamation mark in the centre and lines radiating out of it, it goes off after a minute or so but as such i don't know what it means if anybody could please help so i can get back onto the dealer if necessary.

p.s the light is yellow and is on the right hand side of where all the lights come on.

I get the same thing - my '52 Gal handbook says it is telling you that you have a blown bulb.

Only problem is - none of the bulbs appear to be blown.

Maybe it's just a start-up diagnostic, and the fact that it goes out after a while means that all the bulbs are fine.

Someone else should be able to tell us if they get the same warning light.
