johnb80 Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 I know it's not a Galaxy related question but I'm sure someone here will be able to point me in the right direction. I need to get hold of a parts diagram for a Bosch fuel injection pump used on a Ford Endura DE diesel engine, the engine is normall fitted to Escorts / Fiesta's circa 1995 or thereabouts. Many Thanks - John Quote

On the pump in question there's 2 solenoids on the side and 3 wires coming out of the back. From the drawings I have, 2 of the wires out of the 3 feed the stop solenoid, when I connect these wires only 5mA of current flows suggesting that it isn't feeding a solenoid or the solenoid is u/s. The pump is circulating fuel but not injecting. Thanks in anticipation. Regards - J Quote
johnb80 Posted March 9, 2007 Author Report Posted March 9, 2007 Sorted it thanks. In the back of the pump there was an encapsulated circuit with three wires, I assume power, ground and data. The unit had an output to a solenoid which when powered directly allowed the motor to run, I assume it was all part of the anti theft system, not really very good, took about 10 minutes to defeat.
