Guest castle Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 The missus has had an accident with our Galaxy, and reversed past the wheelie bin, snapping the n/s mirror off, and it is hanging on the wiring harness. I can remove the mirror from the bodywork, but can't get to disconnect the wiring from the multi plug behind the passenger door panel. How do you get the door panel off? B) Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Start my unfolding the middle bit of the door pull handle, which should then reveal fixing screw(s). Then using a special tool (or pallette knife), start to prise the door card off round its perimiter. Don't have the TIS CD handy at the moment - hopefully someone with more exoerience will post the steps to take in greater detail soon. Quote
suzuki91 Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 get some spare clip fastnings as you will break some along the way. Quote
bushm Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 Hi Castle,My wife also had a small accident with the passenger door wing mirror, luckily they fold back on themselves so all that happened was that it got a slight scratch on the front surface. She wasn't at all bothered about it and thought a new one would only be a few pounds. I pointed out that they are electric and heated, and that if she thought of a number, doubled it and added a bit more she might get an idea of the true price. I guessed at Quote
