Guest siroccoman Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 Hi all, have just today taken delivery of a 2004 Mondeo 2.0Tdci 130 6speed Ghia X for my Daughter (21 next week). It has in it the latest Visteon Telematics Satnav / Cd / Mp3 / Climate control - along with loads of other goodies - including rear seat Dvd player and screens. I have been told that you can get the dvd picture on the screen in front, or at least have the sound output relayed through vehicle speakers instead of headphones, but i am buggered if i can find out how to do it. Nor can my dealer - NO SUPRISE THERE THEN  can anyone advise or help PLEASE,Dave Quote
Guest Rooney Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 I have also just taken delivery of the new Mondeo 2.0 litre Ghia X TDCi with everything except Multimedia package. It has the 7" touchscreen DVD Navigation. There was no manual on how to work it either!!! There is an aux socket in the glove compartment where you can attach other units such as mobile DVD player. It is also possible that the unit blocks certain signals when the car is in motion to avoid distraction. I e-mailed Ford a few weeks ago requesting information about the new Navigation System but still haven't heard anything... Quote
Guest siroccoman Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Rooney, I have a spare Dvd Navigation user manual now if you would like it. Ford have now sent me THREE................ E-mail me if you wish and i will post it to you. regards dave Quote
Guest disney_cjd Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Gents I am about to collect our CMax Ghia with Sat Nav touchscreen the 7" version that I think you both have. There is very little information I can find on this so I was hoping for some help. We opted for the version witht he 6 CD autochanger underseat, but the dealer says that this is actually in the head unit. So is he right? Do all these Sat Nav systems have a 6 CD changer in the ehad unit and therefore I shol not have paid the extra 300 quid? Also, can it play DVD movies? How does it work? Is it worthwhile? Are you loving it? Appciaite any commetns you can give on this. Thanks Craig Quote
