Yunus Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Hi all just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me .I have recently bought a 97 2.0 GLX A/C Gal and when you start it up you can here a fan spinning sound ,At first i thought it was the Cooloing fan so checked that next time i started it but it wasent that it only lasts for about 40 seconds or so but iam at a loss for what it could be any help appriciated Thanks In Advance Quote
Guest wolfie Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 possibly the secondary air pump spinning up? a system used to inject air into the exhaust gases rather like an after burner to speed up the cats warming up time! or the secondary water pump used to keep the coolant flowing after shut down to stop hot spots inthe engine occuring!
