Is it me ? Try as I might, I cannot fit the Rear Mudflaps (mk2) without them looking as if they are sticking out sideways when viewed from the rear. There is a 'notch' on the flap which is suppossed to line up with the indent on the bumper but it just doesn't look right. If you've got them fitted - have a look at the back of the car - do they look like they are sticking out sideways ?

.......and before you ask - yes they are the proper FORD ones. SEATKID - no need to reply - I know you don't like mudflaps ! :(

Mine fit fine - they appear to be perfectly vertical when fitted, and, although the car still gets dirty at the back, it does so much more slowly, and there is no longer the large build-up of mud on the sides of the rear bumper.

Never mind the fittings.

You need to screw them on with self tappers.

Time to post this again??? Do I need to go outside tomorrow with the camera again to take more pics of the rear flaps, maybe from behind the car this time? Edited by Ivor_E_Tower

Yes, but they were on it when I bought the car.....suspect that they were fitted by the supplying dealer. Didn't take any photos today, maybe tomorrow I'll have a go (and get strange looks from my colleagues if I do it in the works car park at lunch-time???)
