I have used the aluminium dust caps in past and i will never again use them, its not that they are on to tight its the brass schroeder fitting seizing onto the aluminium cap, i used a dremel multi tool to cut down one side as i thought i would end up ripping the valves if i kept using glips/pliers etc

i used..mole grips..pliers..wd40 and the bloody things still didnt budge...i guess i loosened them for the bloke at the garage.lmao

Which way did you try turning them......you will find one way is easier than the other

I put some nice aluminium dust caps on my Gal and done the up tight with the little tool supplied. Two days later some little bugger's had them away, I'm sure I've seen them on their bikes.

So if you can't get them off in the future, ask the brats in your area
