Dave-G Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) And what did I tell you would happen to your finger nails if you dont wear gloves when changing diesel oil? Huh? Pray tell us. We all know what happens of course 'cos we is guys and it dont seem to matter quite as much to us. Can I say that I feel a bit of a pratt for not realising the "grip Washer" was a 1" long piece of tube - puhlease give us a two or three dimensional view of any further photo's. Whats the next phase of your DIY service mechanics course Maz? Pollen filter? Edited February 18, 2007 by Dave-G Quote
mumof4 Posted February 18, 2007 Author Report Posted February 18, 2007 Yes i know..i just forgot to get gloves. I will post another pic in a bit of the gripper thingymajig.. Air filter i think will be next.Along with Pollen filter.. :o Quote
littledaz Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 A couple of examples of your 'thingymajig' in use. If you browse your engine bay, you will see these are fitted everywhere, different sizes and on most pipes. The only chance you will have of finding the missing one, is to look at all your hoses, look for one that could be prone to rubbing, similar size to your 'thingymajig' and there maybe a dark patch on the hose where it once was.
