tim-spam Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 I am glad you have goood luck with your car, there are good and bad in all vehicles it just seems to me the good Galaxy ones are rarer and a damn site more expensive to fix. Look how many posts are titled 'another fault on my Galaxy'Yes, I agree that there are good and bad in all cars (even Japanese), but look also at the poll on how members rate their car - over 88% would buy another, and 65% have had to spend less than Quote

El Dingo Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 (edited) 4.6k see post 33 Golly. They don't think much is wrong with it then.In my experience it's a little unusual to keep a trade-in for sale at the same dealer. If you think about it, a dealer has to provide a warranty on the Zaffy (at the very least), give it a good clean out, and still make a profit to cover his overheads. And there's no guarantee he'll actually clear Edited March 4, 2007 by El Dingo Quote
gregers Posted March 4, 2007 Author Report Posted March 4, 2007 the dealer is part of the main vauxhall dealership, the warranty will no doubt be 3-6 mths(unless there like me and negotiated).but the zaffy was in damn good condition. Quote
raymac Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 When the gal becomes stationary the wipers come 'down a level - till you resume driving. Well mine must be buggered then as they still sweep normal when i come to a stop  Quote

Guest wolfie Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 mmm starting to sound like an absolute bargain of a car http://i.pbase.com/g3/56/398356/2/57595213.Wetlemon37621.jpg applies to you or the car ;) Quote
gregers Posted March 18, 2007 Author Report Posted March 18, 2007 teething problems thats all, nothing that hasnt been posted b4,im just glad ive got a warranty with it. just makes you wonder about the tyres as they were changed at a main vauxhall dealer or at a tyre place, makes you wonder what else they do in these places that they havnt got a clue about, and worst case scenario could they be held liable. gregers Posted March 19, 2007 Author Report Posted March 19, 2007 ok here goes, now need some advice, the dealership have said that because the aux booster heater is an accessory they will do nothing about it,so i went to the supplying dealer and had a polite conversation about this matter, and he has said his hands are tied basically, have also contacted trade and standards people for info, is the booster heater regarded as an accessory?technical info needed on this one does it harm the engine in the long run if its not working?need help from you good people on this b4 i really blow my stack over it,i know the car drives fine without it working, but in my reckoning if it was there from the day the manufactures put it in THEN ITS THERE FOR A REASON so it should be working thanx good peeps regards gregers Quote
