My Other Car Is A Galaxy Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Okay I am a numpty. Can anybody please tell me where the brake fluid reservoir is on my 52 Plate 1.9TDi Ghia. I haven't a clue and I've looked everywhere, including in the cupboard under the kitchen sink... Joking apart, I have looked through the forum and can't seem to find the answer anywhere, as most answers seem to relate to the Mark I. Help. Quote
mumof4 Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Brake fluid reservoir IIRC iis at the back of the engine bay on the left in the corner....damn hard to see..to access it means removing a couple of things. Or am i thinking of something else??Hmmm......handbook time.. Quote
mumof4 Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 aha!!..i was right according to my trusty manual where it is shown as a nice pretty rectangle! Quote

My Other Car Is A Galaxy Posted February 14, 2007 Author Report Posted February 14, 2007 Whitty, many thanks. Me and you have the same car by the way. Now one last silly question, is it on the left looking from the front, or is it on the left when sitting in the car. Plus, mumof4 mentioned removing something, is that the case? Do I have to remove anything? Thanks. Quote

I was actually directing the removing things question to you, and was just thanking Whitty for his input. Sheepishly sorry here, I always put things across wrong. Quote
