No need to worry about the bushes on a car that new unless its had a lot of abuse on rough roads. No they dont come with the drop links. You'll benefit from a pair of thin pipe grips when removing the genuine ones as they dont have spanner flats on them to stop them rotating.

The nuts will probably be smaller too - car manufacturers use common size nuts/bolt heads to minimise tooling during their construction.

If they dont have the flats on them, they should have an allen key (7mm IIRC) up the centre of the screwed end of the shaft.

It's possible to change the links with out jacking the car up and removing the wheels (and you don,t have to wrestle with the load of the torsion bar) by just turning the wheels to full lock, use some WD40 undoing the nuts and fitting the new links then turn the wheels the other way to change the other side.

I changed my drop links a while back, but it did not solve that annoying 'clunck' over pop holes etc. Keeping in mind the mileage on my car, would the stabiliser bar bushes be the next best bet for replacement? Anyone changed these?

Well I changed the stabiliser bushes today. Easy job and no more clunking!!

Definitely should be law to change the bushes at the same time as replacing the drop links.

Wish I had known this a while back, may have prematurely worn the new drop links!

The old bushes were clearly well worn when compared to the new ones.
