AndeeeH Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Hi Maz, I've got a pair of metal ramps you could borrow. I've had the back of a Gal up on them to fit a towbar but may have to be a bit careful at the front because of the overhang. I'll have a scout round in the old workshop at work tomorrow there might be some axle stands as well. ;) Andy. Quote

mumof4 Posted February 14, 2007 Author Report Posted February 14, 2007 Whilst looking through my trusty, dog eared covered in oil and muck handbook....it says that if the oil warning light stays on even with the correct level oil in it...you are supposed to get the engine checked out..and to not drive the car....oops!.. whitty Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 didn't someone ask you if you had checked the oil pressure ? i dunno if this can be done via ecu if not you need a man with a gauge ! or a man that know's more than me ! i take it you have no other problems other than the oil light being on rattles, smoke ect probally is just a sensor lets face it vag engines are great but electricals are w*nk whitty Quote
mumof4 Posted February 17, 2007 Author Report Posted February 17, 2007 Right..off to put the car on the ramps.. (Thanks Andy) Quote
