Induction Noise/turbo Charger

Hi Everyone,

 

I have only just started to hear this noise and wanted to check it out with you lot first before i get worried and take it to frauds.

When engine under load and tubo comes in, seems to be a air gushing noise coming from the drivers side (O/S) wheelarch area, doesn't seem to do it standing still bit i suppose this is because the engine is not under load. Also seems to be a very little amount of oil residue around the lower undertray on that side. :lol:

 

A little bit of info from you good people please so i can assess the situation.

Hi Walz,

 

sounds like one of your turbo boost pressure hoses maybe loose or split. Locate the oil source and this may lead you to a split pipe. The turbo system produces an oil mist in the boost hoses to inlet manifold, this may be your oil leak.
