Owner Of Galaxy With Faults!

Hi All,

 

Great site. Do not know how I missed it until now, Jan 07.

 

Now on 2nd Galaxy, TDi Ghia 115PS 52 plate.

 

Thanks to all the contributors I now understand what to do about:

- Horrendous noise under the front, the anti roll-bar drop links.

- Why is this car so cold, The non working booster heater. Always wondered what that small exhaust was for.

- What is that awful smell? the very wet and mouldy front passenger footwell insulation, thanks rear wash wipe hose connector.

- Non working heated front screen

- repair the malfunctioning central locking

- Vag com

 

Have recently removed the ignition lock barrel if anyone needs to know and last year replaced the air con evaporator on a '99 2.3 GhiaX.
