opened my passenger rear door this evening and it made a horrendous clank and on further inspection on the door where the retainer attaches itself has completely snapped(i will try and post some pics tommorrow),when you close the door the 2 no bolts that hold the retainer to the door disapear into the door itself.

 

ME THINKS THIS IS GOING TO BE A BLOODY COSTLY REPAIR :lol:

 

any idea as to why it has happened,it gave me no notice that it had seized up at all

any cheap repair that can be done?

and if i get it welded(if possible)will it be a lasting repair?

galaxy's give warning by clacking really loudly for a while first

it didnt really give any warning,just opened and bang,now ive got jaggered bits of metal where it was attached to the door!

soak in wd40 type stuff undo nuts get some f**king big washers andthen put nuts back on and there you have it job done and proper metal on a vauxhall therefore doubling its value :lol: :lol: :16: :16:

use 2p coins and each one will then double the value of the car

but on a serious note can you be done for defacing the queens image? :lol:
