Guest rambo Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) hi all, i changed my front brake pads about 3 months ago now, after a few days they started to squeal, i thought ah no problem give them a few more miles till they bed in properly, well 1,200 miles later i think they are worse its doing my head in, the pads are probably cheapo crap called abtex ??? Dave-G Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Use 'copperslip aka coppaslip between the METAL TO METAL surfaces. That is around the piston lip, the caliper 'feet, and the locating lugs of the caliper - and life will be filled with peace and harmony ^_^ Quote

That is around the piston lip, the caliper 'feet, and the locating lugs of the caliper - and life will be filled with peace and harmony ^_^ so you think my noisy pads can be made to sut up with coppaslip i did put copper grease on, but only on the back of the pads ^_^ maybe i will use a whole tube of that all over the brake parts as you suggest before buying new pads again a couple of tubes on each side should do it lol Quote
