But joking apart, not sure why you are paying through the wages(and dont want to know) but all the rest of us who have to rough it and pay it (hi hi) the council only divides it by 10 monthsso I hope that has been taken into account! Ivor_E_Tower Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Almost the first thing I did when we moved into our present house 11 years ago was appeal on the council tax banding ... got it reduced one band with no hassle. Very quick and easy, local valuation officer comes round, compares your house to others in the same area and recent selling prices. You then get a letter with their verdict and if applicable, they contact the local council and you get a rebate and revised instalment booklet :-) Quote

Radiotwo my sort of money..hun..we dont actually get paid that much..less than in civvy street..if you work it out hourly...he gets paid less than minimum wage a 4 bed house that is falling apart is what we live in..and its the same size as a small 3 bed house. we pay 110 every month year round. mumof4 Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 maz thats what im paying for mine but as radio2 says it is over 10 months,but also mines a 3 bed. we pay ours every month..not 10 months......it is classed as a grade D property. the value of our house would be around 50k i would say considering the state it is in...and practically falling apart....
