Guest Cepheus Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Best thing will be a blank phone extension socket. Can be bought from B&Q or any good DIY store for a couple of quid. You could always fit a normal wall mounted slave socket and make it another phone point in the house! if you haven't got a krone tool then a very small screwdriver will work for kroning the cables into the receptors in the socket. Guest Cepheus Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 KRONE TOOL used for easily stripping and connecting wire to telco connectors inside master sockets. Just use a small screwdriver or knife to do the job   Quote
mumof4 Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Posted January 26, 2007 cant i just whack a white box over it and forget it? Quote
Guest Cepheus Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Cover it in chocolate and call it a Twix for all I care :P :P :P    However ..... if you want to know what "the best way to tidy this lot up" is as per your OP, then connecting the wires to a blank telco extension socket is the answer :) The choice is yours .... (said in a Geordie accent like that bloke off Big Brother!) Quote

adrianf. Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 No im sorry but i think your wrong  It would look more like a curly wurly than a twix  Quote
Guest gooner52 Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 u lot are nuts, problem sorted very soon  Quote
Dave-G Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Watch out if you go down there. Last time I went some bloke with an orange apro asked me if I wanted decking... Well I got the first one in and floored him  Quote
NikpV Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 this mess has been like it since we moved in..there was no cover nothing. the litte lego brick is what i used... since you are off soon and you have improved it - why bother doing anything? Quote
mumof4 Posted January 27, 2007 Author Report Posted January 27, 2007 Because no doubt it will be picked up on march out and we will get billed for the repair. Besides, at the mo i am going nowhere. Quote
