Ford Fx3000 Headunit.

I have a ford FX3000 headunit, which has more or less given up the ghost, but I cannot find anywhere that sells the adapter to change the connector on it to suit my new Blaupunkt Santa Cruz CD31.

 

I have scoured ford websites and not found anything similar.

It looks like the previous owner has cut the old wires and soldered in the new ones.

 

Am I going to have to do the same or does anyone know of an adapter?

 

Its a 16pin connector, consisting of 2 rows of 8 little pins, Kind of like the IDE connector on a PC motherboard.
