Andrew T Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Whilst I would be the last person to defend Galaxy reliability I would point out that a lot of the "2.3" issues are actually with standard Galaxy faults, notably Aircon and Wipers. Quote

(need a festa 1.4 TDCI - 75mpg!) - not to mention cheaper everything (tyres/brakes) when reading these reviews, the only thing you should be looking for is what continually pops up...example, when looking at reviews of the ford KA, clutch and steering rack failures are very common - everything else in the review i basically ignore - because its that persons view on it, not my own! another problem with the reviews is - there not REAL figures...there could (im not saying there is, but for example!) be more diesel engined galaxies on the road, than 2.3's petrol's...which means there's more opportunity for bad reports on the diesel (like coloured marbles in a bag) ...i also hate the likes of "which magazine" that suggest the "best" product out there - which might not be (99.9% of the time) the product for me!
