Guest walz Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 Hi Everyone, 11 am Sunday morning, just pulling on a jumper to go out and wash the Gal as the wind and rain had finally stopped, looking out the window at some idiot trying to reverse into a parking spot in front of Gal. Omega 2.5 with a tow bar. OOps went back too far and put his towbar straight through the lower front grill section of the bumper, i ran downstairs to point out his mistake. Not being a happy chappy i shouted at him as he was trying to lock the car and dissappear into the pub, denies it all and says he didn't do it, after a few F**ks and do you want me to put you on your arse now mate, he gave up his name and address, hope they are correct but have the reg no. Off to get a dealer quote tomorrow to get it fixed, he said he will pay for it but by the time the labour/ paintwork where the towbar arm has scratched the recess of the bumper and the lower front grill prices come in i am sure he will want to go through insurance. Just still letting off steam folks, Have fun Walz Quote

El Dingo Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 he said he will pay for it but by the time the labour/ paintwork where the towbar arm has scratched the recess of the bumper and the lower front grill prices come in i am sure he will want to go through insurance. I recommend reporting this to insurance immediately - don't wait to see if he'll pay up. In a friend of mine's experience they don't, and will keep stringing you along until you give up. Quote
