Galaxy 2.3 Petrol Starter Motor

Hi can anyone tell me how easy it is to get to the starter on a 1999 galaxy 2.3 petrol as it clicking so presume its stuck and was wondering if there easy enough to change on the drive or if they are a pain in the arse to get to thanks

are you sure you have enough juice in the battery - clicking with no movement is a common symptom of a flat battery

flat battery does sound promising! but if your sure it's stuck try releasing it by rocking the vehicle in gear ?(only possible on a manual box!) to see if you can release the bendix?

Hi yes im sure its the starter motor battery has been checked yes ive had the starter playing up a bit latley so wondered if its a job to do on drive or a job for the garage as i know it can be a bit tight under the bonet of these mpvs changed them before on transits and escorts but never on a galaxy ^_^ any help would be grateful as if i can do it save a few quid on garage bills also anyone know a good place to get one from
