MJR Another method is the use of wheelie bins. In posh areas full of Mercs and BMWs etc, the car jackers will put the wheelie bin across the driveway. Householder arrives home to find driveway blocked and curses binmen. Gets out to move bin leaving engine running. Thief leaps out from behind neighbours hedge, into car and drives off.
