davec Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 The leather seat cover has to be removed and refitted to replace the heating pad but there is no zipper 'tab' to pull to undo zip.All the seats are the same and the dealer had had two seat covers in which are the same. They are waiting for Ford to advise but has anyone else had this problem is there a special tool for it.I they are their usual self it will be the summer before they get an answer and I will be worrying about the aircon, not the heated seats Quote

Guest wolfie Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 we were there on the saturday, had to meet up with chiefy to get a new bottom pully ;) we were meant to meet up with him at Towcester and due to a mis communication we decided to go the meet and pick up the pully, it gave us a chance to give the truck a good blast up the M40! you should have seen the faces on people as we went towering past them at speed in an off road MPV the delli's not mine though :( it's my old mans! he uses it for fishing ;) he wanted something reliable with comfort that would not get stuck off road if it rained! and so far it's fitted the bill perfectly! fold the seats down, make the bed and still have enough room to store all his kit and boil the kettle ;) the truck as it's known!http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/uploads/post-2-1124478584.jpg Quote

Guest wolfie Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 we didnt do the off road course ;) we had a good look around the car park, chatted to loads of people picked up a few ideas and a couple of bits, then hit the road back to out skirts of northampton/bucks, have noticed a lot more delli's in the area lately! there are two in our village inc ours and a couple more scattered around the town, there's an L300 that parks up at the bottom of Queen Elenors hill and a lwb L400 thats seen a lot around Blisworth/Towcester, and nice LWB 400 over Rugby way that I keep ruuning into on the M6, none of them have yellow diamonds though ;) Quote
davec Posted January 12, 2007 Author Report Posted January 12, 2007 quite close then,if you go and I am there you can take mine round its only an old snotter 1992 but I love it and it doesnt matter if it gets a few scratches. Getting quite a few delis around now Gill Pratt has a lot and that place past East Haddon sells afew, yours is alot more refined than mine but I,m happy with mine can work on it a lot myself had an L400 Royal LwB and it was a bit complicated, made asmall profit but a lot of stress I could scrap mine now and still not cry, have had it 3 years + for 4800 and very little spent prob Quote
