can anyone help please..

 

when starting my galaxy 1.9tdi the central locking locks from inside ? and the heater switches come on then go out then don't work after.............?

TRIM LEVEL - ghia,zetec,lx

 

 

didn't know at the time whether you meant climate control - heater which is on the ghia you see (maybe zetec too )

both heated screens have timers on them! this could be why they go off? why they are not allowing you to switch them back on could be either a duff timer relay in the CJB? which resets when you kill the ignition? or IIRC on some models you cant run them both at the same time due to the load! try only switching one on at time? or if you have CC switch it to screen demist and see if the front screen kicks into life? failing that and it is a duff time! it's a trip to the dealers to get the codes read and possible a big bill!

as to why the doors lock after start up? do they lock after a certain time period or at a set speed? it sounds like you have an anti hi jack set up! lucky you! some people on here have been trying to set that up for over nine months now! it's either an aftermarket alarm? or it's been programed into the CL ecu !
