baz69 Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 my steering column controls dont work its a ford unit 2007 whick also has the multi changer but as i dont have the cd magazine i cant try it,any way as i said the steering control doesnt work at all, i took the head unit out and found there was a plug out which i duly plugged in, when i did all that came up on the display was the word phone the colomn contrlos dont do anything and the stereo wont do anything at all there is no sound at all ,but soon as i pull the plug back out it goes back to normal and radio works , any body got any ideas plz Quote

manlike Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 i have a similar problem in that sound works fine on the radio when the engine is NOT running. the minute the car is started the sound goes off. it doesnt then work until you turn off the engine, and pull the yellow plug out and back in again. then it plays fine until the engine starts. it is the 2007 radio with ford amplifier, O/E system any help most welcome Quote
