Whats That Funny Smell ?

Hi folks.

I know this has nothing to do with Gals but am looking for a bit of help.

My good lady has just bought herself a Toyota Rav4 petrol.

Whilst driving it there seems to be a strange sort of oily burning kind of smell coming from the engine into the cabin.

The closest smell i can think of is oil dripping onto the manifold sort of smell but had a good look around and its all very dry with no leaks.

Am thinking if a grommet has popped out of the bulkhead and letting fumes in or somthing daft like that.

Try the Brake master cylinder at the joint of the reervoir I had a small leak and it used to drip onto the exhaust but only going up hill on a right hand bend.

 

That smelt vile and came in through allthe vents.
