adamski Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Hi guys, another newbie. Have been viewing the site for some time now using the information on here. Who needs a haynes manual????? Had to replace glow plug in aux heater using pictures from this site - absolutely superb!!!! Had car for two years but didnt know i even had one! Anyway on to my point, how many of you have fitted reverse cameras to your cars, what did you fit and how did you mount them. How much did you pay and where did you get them from, have seen lots on ebay??? Any pictures would be awesome!!! Quote
Guest MATT jr Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 a reversing camera is going to be a later "add-on" to my car computer, which is still a work in progress atm. the screen is going to be mounted in the top centre pocket of our galaxy - and made such that it can be put away quickly and easily - making it look as though nothing is installed. adamski Posted December 29, 2006 Author Report Posted December 29, 2006 plenty of gadgets on your galaxy gooner!! is the camera you fitted in the bumper a night camera with leds mounted in it ???? They seem to be a bit bigger than a normal one and i dont want it to look to ugly!!!! Quote
Guest gooner52 Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 its quite a small camera fitted in there with night vision leds the cctv camera is a lot bigger but the one in the bumper looks fine, not in face type, hence i didnt want to mount one on the roof or you can buy really small one to go on beside your number plate j :) Quote
