arnie70 Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 Give my Gal bit of a xmas treat yesterday, was trying to swap wheels from front to back to even out tyre wear. The locking wheel nut on front drivers side was stuck solid, give it a bit of elbow grease & the bugger came apart! :) Any tips on how to remove it now?? Thanks Quote

PhilT Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 Make sure you replace them all with something better than the Ford ones with that silly helix that just shears off (well, that's what happened to me). Merry Christmas everyone! Quote
Guest MATT jr Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 IIRC halfords do a tool. its basically a screw, that "screws in" when turned counter clockwise, so once the screw is screwed in, it then undoes the wheel bolt. MJR Quote
familyman Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 :D mine did the same thing-i had to drill out the offending bolt,a real pain :D Quote
