Guest ali Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 HiRecently replaced the plastic adjustment sleeve that fits onto the gear selector ball joint because it was broken; however it now goes into all forward gears but won't engage reverse. I have tried all adjustments on sleeves and cables but am completely stumped, I also can't see how the lifting mechanism on the shaft engages reverse as it has nothing to fit into in order to lift. Is there a part missing?Any suggestions would be appreciated.Ali :) PS: The vehicle is a P reg 1997 Galaxy 1.9 TDI 110bhp Manual.Thanks.Ali Quote
