Hi Gooner,

 

The Gal is going to be sent to Bristol Street Motors at Bexlyheath to have the DVD system sorted, the dealer is paying :)

 

Hopefully what ever is wrong will get replaced so it will work properly, so fingers crossed, went out and bought a portable 7" DVD player just so my little girl stopped asking for the system to work and when it didn't get all upset. She is 2 today so what a nice DAD am i then, my old lady said" You will be buying her a mobile phone next"!! :)

Hi All,

 

The Gal has gone in to have the Media sorted out, Frauds say that when the car was valeted internally that is when the problems arose. They are telling me that where all the wires go under the drivers seat, there is a compartment which can hold water and dampness and this is where they think the problem lies.

 

Maindealer told me if the system has to totally changed the cost would be approx

Very Suspect,

 

Frauds are telling me there is nothing wrong with my DVD system in the car, They are saying it is wired/powered by the stereo and i must be turning off the stero when i go to put the DVD on for the Kiddie in the back. ;)

 

Have i got this right? I can't say i do that or i don't realise i am doing this. Can any techno's tell me if this is right or wrong please. ;)

Hi everyone,

 

Well the DVD enteraintment system is working, there was a Pepper Pig DVD in the player so the mechanic had to watch that when testing the system :lol: Ps its not mine, its my daughters!! :lol:

 

I have PM'd BDM as they have said that the module wasn't the problem so i still have the old one for him to try. Hopefully he will get the message if not i am sure one of you kind people will tell him that it is availble for him to try on his system.

Yer the PDF actually showed me how and why which seems silly but to understand how it is wired etc its makes more sense when talking to dealer etc.
