faz Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I rang Natwest yesterday to ask why I had not received my written offer of settlement and was told it takes up to 4 weeks for them to send it and it could not be done any sooner, I told them that it was not good enough and I thought that they were stalling, and that I would be handing the court forms in first thing on monday.I received my written offer this morning. Quote
faz Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 Natwest refunded the money in to my account today  We are now after Nationwide and have had to start court action for Quote
wonkydog Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Ok, court date set for 10th April. Have had loads of advice and reassurance from consumeractiongroup website. Finally feel in charge of the court case and the shedloads of paperwork.Last but one round! Quote
wonkydog Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 (edited) All paperwork (copies of evidence and stuff I want to use on the day) submitted to the court. Lloyds still not backing down, neither am I. (If anyone wants an MP3 copy of the Peter McNamara BBC interview (former head of customer relations at Lloyds) where he states that part of the banking charges are used for something else, let me Know.) (Washed the Gal last week - wheels as well!, we had to look good going to the Reading half marathon didn't we! 5 up and all the kit - shiney as a shiney thing on a sunny day) Edited March 30, 2007 by wonkydog Quote
faz Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 All the best for your claim Wonkydog, is it normal for Lloyds to go through the allocation questionnaire route before backing down, I'm claiming against Nationwide and have not received an AQ yet, but it appears Nationwide are paying up right at the end of the 28 days.Like you I am registered with the consumer action group. faz Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 Hi MO4Nationwide will not pay unless you take them to court, when you issue court proceedings against them they say they are going to defend it, in my case they paid up after 21 days, they have 28 days to submit a defence, but as far as I know they have never actually defended a case.
